Information: Designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the Willow Tea Room features what is regarded as the jewel in the crown of his work during his partnership with Kate Cranston, entrepreneur in the early 1900s. The Room De Luxe with its silver furniture and leaded glass work remains a well loved, visitor attraction with visitors having the opportunity to see the original Room De Luxe doors reinstated in late 2008 after a 12 year absence. The willow theme is evident throughout the building as is Mackintosh’s use of dark and light colours. For lunch bookings please phone 0141 332 0521.
