Information: We are delighted to announce that The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis will be undertaking friendly, informal and informative tours of the Glasgow Necropolis on the dates noted below. The following tours dates are available as part of Doors Open Day 2010: Saturday 18th September @ 12.00 noon and 2.00pm. Saturday 18th September @ 5.30pm, a joint tour with Roger Guthrie of The Alexander Thomson Society and Ruth Johnston of The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis. After the tour a buffet meal is available at the Cathedral House Hotel, which has a fantastic view of the Necropolis from the restaurant. Cost £15 per person (payment in advance, details provided on booking). Please state clearly when booking the options of, tour only, tour and buffet, or buffet only. Sunday 19th September @ 12.00 noon and 2.00pm. Prior booking for all our tours is essential via our website tours@glasgownecropolis.org and the meeting point will be provided with every confirmed booking. Given the popularity and demand for our tours we expect them to be fully subscribed, so if you want to come along, please book early via our website tours@glasgownecropolis.org to avoid disappointment.
