Information: Stupendous example of 19th Century architecture and home to Glasgow City Council. The interior of the west building testifies to the quality of workmanship of the High Victorian era with mosaic, marble, carved woodwork, mural painting, embossed wallpapers, gilding and stained glass coming together to create a truly wonderful civic palace.
