Information: The exterior of the building is red sandstone and it was built in The Edwardian era circa 1911 and 1912. The Old Marlborough is now in use as a Nightclub and is also used as a venue for live music, theatre and comedy. Although many original fixtures and fittings are covered over. The venue evokes nostalgia of past Dance Hall days. The Building is open to Doors Open Day visitors from 10am till 1pm each day. Special Event: TRAM Direct present - Magic of the Marlborough, a theatrical trip down memory lane back to the 40s, 50s & 60s when the Marlborough was in its heyday. Re-live the nostalgia of the period with music and dancing. This is a one-off Special Event and tickets cost £8.
