Information: Stunning transformation of former Glasgow Herald building, Mackintosh's first public commission, into Scotland's Centre for Design and Architecture. Explore architecture related exhibitions, Mackintosh Centre, and tower with fantastic city views. Building tours will be at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm on Saturday. 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on Sunday. Doors Open Day Family Workshop Taking place in the Education Workshop – Level 2 The Lighthouse 11am – 3pm Saturday 17th September 1pm – 3pm Sunday 18th September FREE Drop in workshop – first come first served - 15 participants max at any time. Suitable for all ages. Street Scape Design and build your own street, this family workshop gives all ages and abilities the opportunity to create a collective neighbourhood from a corner shop to tower blocks, how would you want your ideal/fantasy street to look? We will provide the materials and simple construction techniques all you have to do is bring your imagination.
