Information: The Beaton Road site in Crossmyloof became home to Hutchesons’ Boys’ Grammar School in 1960, following 119 years in Crown Street, Gorbals. Hutchesons’ now celebrates 50 years in the current building, which was seen as an extremely fashionable building in its time, daring in its modernity.
