Scotland's Organic Food Festival

Doors Open Day and Glasgow's Built Heritage Festival offers the most extensive and concentrated programme of tours and other events of any of Glasgow's cultural festivals. One of the key themes we are highlighting as part of the heritage festival is traditional building skills and materials.

The B-listed Georgian stable block of the former Castlemilk House (demolished 1960's) dates back to the 1750's. Tours of the building will be available. Tea, coffee and 'apple pressing' will also be available. Taster sessions of some of the wider action activities that Stables delivers will be available, eg Impact Arts "Creative Cafe", Fab Pad and some children's activities.
