Information: Attributed to David Hamilton 1750, Elder & Cannon 2007. Superbly restored in 2007 by Glasgow Building Preservation Trust, this building has won multiple awards (RIBA, GIA, Scottish Design Award, Georgian Award, Civic Trust Award & 2010 Scottish Civic Trust My Place award) and is a Doors Open Day must-see! The B-listed Georgian stable block of the former Castlemilk House (demolished 1960's) dates back to the 1750's. Saved and restored thanks to a local community campaign, the building now serves as offices for Cassiltoun Housing Association, set around an elegant glazed cloister. Tours of the building will be available. Refreshments also available. Presentations throughout the day.
