Information: Possibly the oldest swimming club of its kind in Europe. Behind the well-proportioned, Classical façade lies a Turkish room, a Glaswegian homage to the Alhambra. This has tiled walls and floor and a beehive roof studded with star shaped, coloured windows. There are bags of architectural details externally and internally of interest to anyone who enjoys the city's heritage. There will be guided tours of the building including behind the scenes look at how a 140 year old Baths Club actually runs. Free history fact sheet.
