Information: In 1843, a new mental health hospital opened on a hilltop at Gartnavel in the countryside and beside it in 1904 the Hospital Chapel opened to the designs of a Glasgow architect, Sir John James Burnet. The design is simple or so it would appear so come and hear much more about the interior, the stained glass, and how it is proposed to bring a new and complimentary use to this important listed building.
