Information: Designed by James Salmon Jr and John Gaff Gillespie (1904-07) it was the first non-industrial building in the world built pre-1910 entirely of reinforced concrete without disguising the material. The talk will present the outcomes of the research undertaken jointly by Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Basilicata, Potenza, Italy. Presentation by Dr Branka Dimitrijevic.
