Information: BBC Scotland's headquarters on the bank of the River Clyde is the first broadcast centre in the UK to feature High Definition facilities throughout. Pacific Quay combines broadcasting areas with office space and the impressive central red sandstone staircase. Access to building by guided tour only and places must be pre-booked. Access to studios included if possible, but cannot be guaranteed due to filming schedules. The building is suitable for unassisted wheelchair access, however any guests with accessibility needs should be accompanied by a helper in case of emergency evacuation. There is no hearing loop available on the tour, however script notes can be provided on request. ADVANCE BOOKING ESSENTIAL.
