Information: Explore the School's private interiors, accessible only with a student guide. Witness the maturing of a young Mackintosh’s unique style. Identify elements of traditional Japanese architecture and Scotland’s baronial tradition whilst you brush shoulders with current students. Learn about the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements. Find out about the GSA's place in the contemporary creative industries. Admire examples of original furniture, artwork and interiors against the backdrop of the ‘jewel in the crown’ of Mackintosh’s legacy in Scotland, a cutting edge School nurturing some of the world's most exciting new creative talent. Visit the GSA Shop and choose from an award winning range of simple mementos, contemporary pieces by GSA students & graduates and classic gifts inspired by Mackintosh. Linger in the Interpretation Space to learn about the School's history and recent conservation. View an exhibition in the Mackintosh Gallery, or make an appointment to conduct your own research in the Archives and Collections Centre (opening times vary).
