Doors Open Day and Glasgow's Built Heritage Festival offers the most extensive and concentrated programme of tours and other events of any of Glasgow's cultural festivals. One of the key themes we are highlighting as part of the heritage festival is traditional building skills and materials.

This A-listed building is a combination of a variety of styles best described as Spanish Baroque; the two great towers are modelled on the pilgrimage church of Santiago de Compostela. The museum houses one of the finest civic collections in Europe and is the most visited attraction in Scotland. Free 'Highlights of Kelvingrove' tours at 11am & 2.30pm. Free organ recital Sat 1.00pm & Sun 3.00pm. Children's activities
