FREE Shuttle Buses

City – Glasgow East

A bus will leave from the City Chambers on George Square on the hour from 10.00am until 3.00pm. This bus drops off at Provan Hall, where you will be able to collect a local shuttle bus which will take you on one of two tours of Glasgow East venues. Return buses to the City Chambers will depart from Provan Hall on the half hour, although the last bus will leave at 4.00pm. Easterhouse is also well served with a regular bus service.

Glasgow East: Hop On / Hop Off Shuttle Buses

Two free local hop on / hop off shuttle buses from Provan Hall take in the inner and outer reaches of Glasgow East. Buses run between 10.30am and 3.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Bus Route 1: Calton & East End: Provan Hall House - Shettleston Old Parish Church - East End Healthy Living Centre – WEST brewery - People's Palace & Winter Gardens - St Mary's RC Church - Our Lady of Good Counsel Church - High Carntyne Parish Church & back to Provan Hall. Bus route approx 40 mins.

 

Bus Route 2: Greater Easterhouse: Provan Hall House - Easterhouse Fire Station - St Benedict's Church - The Bridge -  Blairtummock House - Andy Scott artwork - the Hub and back to Provan Hall.  Bus route approx 20 mins.

Castlemilk and Carmunnock

A bus will take you to see the multi-award winning Castlemilk Stables, then on to the beautiful conservation village of Carmunnock; once part of the historic Castlemilk Estate owned by the Stuarts. Buses depart from outside Glasgow City Chambers on George Square at the following times:
