Open Topped Bus Tour of the City Centre
Special Doors Open Day Price - not to be missed! £3.50 per person guided tour
On both Saturday and Sunday, journey through seven centuries of Glasgow’s architectural history on our special City Sightseeing bus (£3.50 pp guided tour). A ticket will entitle you to hop on and hop off at any of the six special stops. This will allow you to visit Doors Open Day venues throughout the city centre.
The bus will depart from the front of the City Chambers on George Square at the following times:
10:00 11:00 12:00 and 14:00 15:00 16:00.
Please note - tickets cannot be used on regular City Sightseeing services, This is a special Doors Open Day event ticket.

East End Shuttle Bus

A bus will leave from in front of the City Chambers on George Square on the hour from 10.00am until 3.00pm. This bus will drop you off at Provan Hall, where you will be able to collect a community bus which will take you on a tour of Doors Open Venues in the East of the City. Buses will return to Glasgow City Chambers departing from Provan Hall on the half hour, although the last bus will leave at 4.00pm. Castlemilk Shuttle Bus

A bus will take you to see the multi-award winning Castlemilk Stables. Buses depart from outside Glasgow City Chambers on George Square at the following times:
George Sq. depart 10.00 and 13.30
Castlemilk Stables arrive 10.30 and 14.00
Castlemilk Stables depart 11.45 and 15.15
George Sq arrive 12.15 and 15.45

South West Glasgow
Free Tour Buses
Glasgow Community Planning Partnership (South West) is delighted to announce, that they will be running free, guided bus tours within the South West of the city over Doors Open weekend.
This exciting development is planned to showcase the 22 venues within the South West area that are part of the official Doors Open Day event, as well as providing a live commentary of other iconic and historical buildings and developments within the area. It is hoped that vintage buses will be provided and tours/timetable details will appear on the website in September. There may also be transport from the city centre to the South West to visit the Pearce Institute, the Glasgow Central Mosque, The Burrell Museum, Fairfield Shipyard offices, Glasgow Museums Resource Centre, Pollok House, Pollokshaws Burgh Hall and many more.
